Introduction

COURSE INTRODUCTION

Throughout this course delegates are taught to think and plan rather than approach the tasks blindly from a set of instructions. This enables the delegates to take a systematic and professional approach in all aspects, related to health and safety management.

Health Safety Security and Environmental protection all are paramount for any organization, for maintaining good Health and Safety, providing robust Security and preserving natural resources for the long term. If it cannot be done safely, organization will not undertake it. Any organization is committed to continual improvement of systems and will routinely evaluate the performance through the review of HSSE objectives and targets.

This course would give participants a thorough understanding of Health Safety Security and Environment principle and practices through determining and applying appropriate standards and methods to identify and minimize the likelihood of accidents, injuries and environmental impact during projects and plant operations.

In the end, the course would equip participants in analyzing and quantifying the hazards and risks to health, assets and environment in any organization’s business processes and guide recommend appropriate control measures to reduce risks and guarantee safety of personnel, assets and the environment.

It will also serve as an excellent foundational course for further certification courses related to HSSE.

Methodology

COURSE METHODOLOGY

The training course will be highly participatory and the course leader will present, guide and facilitate learning, using a range of methods including formal presentation, discussions, sector-specific case studies and exercises.  Above all, the course leader will make extensive use of real-life case examples in which he has been personally involved. You will also be encouraged to raise your own questions and to share in the development of the right answers using your own analysis and experiences.  Tests of multiple-choice type will be made available on daily basis to examine the effectiveness of delivering the course.
